ABC records Soul & Funk Albums (Pt.29)New signing for ABC at this beginning of 1977 is this DETROIT funk group, "SHOTGUN". Many critics categorized this group under the likes of THE OHIO PLAYERS, SLAVE or CAMEO; But, at the difference with these groups, SHOTGUN also stayed in the backroom, because they never encountered BIG commercial success. That is not to say that this first opus isn't good, it's pure late 70's fu,nk. PLEASE rehabilitate this group!!!.
