His first solo album delivers more personnals feelings of Roland (all titles are written by him), and turns more into jazz-funk sounds thanks to the WAYNE HENDERSON production. It wasn't rare to find solo albums of performers and sessionnists, as recording corp. weren't afraid at that period to sign them. Notice that FANTASY group SIDE EFFECT co-performed the vocals on this set, and that the LP was recorded at TOTAL EXPERIENCE RECORDINGS studios (Probably one of the first materials on this brothers SIMMONS / GAP BAND studio).
